Registering to Vote

To vote in Wisconsin you must first register to vote. If you are not registered please bring a Wisconsin Driver’s License or ID and proof of residency if the address on your driver’s license is not current. Proof of residency includes a utility bill or bank statement that has your name and address on it.

Voter registration can be done at any time before you vote by mail or by appointment.  Contact Stockholm Town Clerk Martha Black or simply mail your registration to her at N2843 County Road E, Stockholm WI 54769.

Absentee Voting

The cut-off deadline for voting absentee in person is 5:00 pm the Friday before the election. The Thursday before the election is the deadline to request an absentee by mail. You may request absentee ballots by e-mail. All absentee ballots must be returned by mail or in person. We do not have access to a fax.
